It won't change what's going on, but it will give us all a little more support to face what's going on in our world ( Read more... )

What an awesome idea! I have actually been making a point of NOT watching the news, because there's rarely anything good to learn.

Something about me. I am...ridiculously unable to make a "big" decision when it comes to money-things. Small amounts of money, pfft, no big deal. But when it comes to making big purchases, I waffle forever.

Case in point - I've spent nearly TWO years looking at cars to figure out my next vehicle. And I finally pulled the trigger and made a decision. I feel all adult now - but I don't think I'm going to change, so I'm sure my *next* big decision will be just as painful :)

What a lovely idea.

Something about me. My favourite cold drinks are diet cherry coke or cherry pepsi max. I think they're both delicious, and as a bonus neither J or C like them so I can actually keep cans in the fridge for more than a few days.

I wrote fanfic for years before I knew such a thing existed for people other than me and my friends. At 14 I Mary Sued myself into Star Wars. That's how I met my best friend, actually. A mutual friend who knew we both wrote SW stories put us together.

Oh and I think you have my address--let me know if you don't--I'm not sure I have yours though to reciprocate. :)

Hmmm...I can't imagine there is much left you don't know at this point, but let's see.

My first paycheck type job was at Buggy Bath Car Wash. I was the "hot girl" out front (my boss' exact words) because they thought I would be more likely to up sell more expensive car washes. I also had a torrid affair with the assistant manager (ginger!) Gotta say, in retrospect, that was one hell of a summer. ;)

Oh, heavens - there is so much you don't know about me - how to choose? Entertainment value? I don't know, how about... Back in the 1980s, when I was a wee student, I used to hang around the post-punk London scene - one-nighter midweek clubs like Alice in Wonderland, the KitCat club, the Mud Club (quote: “if you looked normal you would not get in”), dancing all night long to goth metal and electronica, drunk on cider and high on speed, wearing too much eyeliner and studded black leather, my hair dyed and crimped into oblivion...

Yeah. Those were the days. It's a miracle I managed to wangle a decent degree out of all this ;)
