* He is down by the river near their home. To the untrained eye, he appears to be throwing rocks into the water, but the truth is that he's trying to calculate force and distance in an effort to hit the larger rock protruding from the water. His head hurts and he's shaking, but if he goes home, his father will no doubt give him something vile tasting and promise that it is good for him. He refuses to believe anything that bad can be good for him, and the last time his father gave him something for his flu he ended up in bed for three weeks, retching the entire time. He knows his father means well, but it is best when he goes about his day as if Horatio doesn't exist. Better for both of them to be in each other's world and not part of it. He sneezes violently and leans back against a tree. Even if it means he'll be sneezing and shaking until his lessons begin
