Chivu banged heads with Chievo's Sergio Pellissier in January :( The ahh_serie_a post is here, but it wasn't a messy injury at all, so there's not much to see. Christi was very calm and just lay patiently on his stretcher until the ambulance arrived. Pellissier was OK (and blameless), but Christi fractured his skull and the doctors had to open it up to make sure he was OK. They removed a haematoma, stitched him up and he came back at the end of March.
I was prepared to be sulky about Lobby's return because Panti would go back to the bench, but they're rotating the goalies, so even that's settled. Yay Lobby! \o/
It's really, really sad when the best thing about the NT is consistently the coach's clothes, and the occasional random children. Come one, people, raise your games.
I'm loving Zidane's advice, particularly based on his deep knowledge of both Special and Chivu. And for €30 million? Of course, Romanian media, Chivu's obviously as valuable as Maicon! I mean, yes please -- just sign here, Perez.

The only even partway logical theory I can come up with is that he's trying to get revenge on Matrix by stealing all his buddies. You wait and see, he'll recommend Deki goes to Man City next.
