OH YAY LENA ♥
So you know that part at the end of Chapter 11, after you knock Barthandelus around a bit and his owl turns into the ship? And then it gives you the option to hang out some more on Pulse or go back to Cocoon?
... Um, how worth it is it to stay and do missions and stuff? Because I didn't activate any of the portal C'ieth stones and the idea of trekking back through all of that is HEARTBREAKING. And I have enough CP to max out two roles on the crystarium already, so it's not like I'm dying for experience, but I could probably use the money from selling components I don't need?

welllll there are only 13 chapters in the game, and the 13th is pretty much epic world/game ending shit, SO YOU ARE ALMOST THERE BB
personally, while i power level like it's going out of style, the filler/running around is so tedious in this game that i can't fault you for wanting to bow out and skip what you can. honestly you aren't missing a whole hell of alot? i mean, i put up with missions because i like my end-of-game boss battle to be as easy as possible? but if you're doing alright then you may not need it. idk i do them, but this game and it's sidequests, while pretty TAKE FOREVERRRRRRRRR
i may be replying in my hope journal just to use this facewaitandFebruary 3 2011, 19:51:25 UTC
GAH SO CLOSE. I dunno, knowing that I'm almost done kind of makes it less exciting, though. I still want some crazy plot revelations.
It really is tedious, isn't it? I spent hours leveling on Pulse when I first got there, and on the Palamecia for incentive chips and I think I've just burned myself out on it. I'm hoping the things I kill back on Pulse will be enough to max out my last Role level, so I don't have to worry about it. And I guess I can always go back and do side-quests in Chapter 13?
No it does! To be honest, while waiting for replies I already went on to Cocoon in a new save file just so I could get Lionheart for Lightning and level it up, and I've been doing fine. If you guys had said it was worth it to hang around in chapter 11, I would've gone back, but I think I'll be fine.
