Oooh! You know, I nearly forgot about this until I saw your update on Ch 3 just now...Marcus is oh, so deliciously evil and scary here. I wonder why he's stuck with babysitting her, though - I thought he was in favor with the SP! I've no doubt that you'll tell us, but still = curious.

Forgive me it feels off, I've only watched the 5 epis with Marcus, so I'm not sure what’s excatly plausible. My frame of thinking (besides forcing proximity) is that River's a key to the SP and Marcus is the best demon for the job (whether he likes it or not) and there is another reason, of the prophetic variety. : )
