Alice entered soon enough, her golden eyes sweeping over the crowd once before landing on the redhead in the back. She was a cutie. She grinned as she joined her, waving off the waitress that asked her if she wanted anything.

"Thanks for this," she said to Axel, and she sounded very grateful. "You have no idea how much I needed it."

"You don't think I'd be able to keep my nose out of this, did you?" Axel grins, maybe a bit too sharply. Setting down her cup, she leans back in her chair.

"I didn't strike you as the type to land a creeper, 'tho."

"If I'd've known he was a creeper I wouldn't have slept with him." Alice leaned back in her chair a little, slouching, throwing one arm back to rest on the top of her chair. "Seemed like a good idea at the time, you know? Just had an itch that needed to be scratched. Now I've got a damn exorcist playing opposite of me in our own version of Fatal Attraction."

That earns a sympathetic wince. Oh, she knows a lot about itches, unfortunately. The list just seems to keep on growing... "It could be worse," she offers, shrugging. "You could be stuck with a mad god. But what about this exorcist of yours makes it so you can't toss him out a window?"
