With rosy cheeks himself, Duo wondered if he should hug back (Would she take it badly? Was there a dad or an older brother spying behind the door?), but he barely managed to put his hand on her back and she was already pulling back.
"I was sayin' - ya look great." He was grinning like an idiot. He didn't care. "Now I feel like the cinema isn't that much of a great idea. And this-" He shows the black helmet. "-will only ruin the pretty."

She started to object, that a movie would be just fine and she'd love to go see one, but then he flashed the helmet, stilling her protests.
Blink. "...That's a motorcycle helmet," she observed. Blink blink. "You have a motorcycle...?"
When he'd asked her about whether or not she'd ride his bike, she had thought he meant it literally. As in, a bicycle. But he had a motorcycle? A real motorcycle?! The excitement brightened her face as she gasped with delight. Without hesitation, she grabbed the helmet and plonked it down soundly over her head.
"Ready!"

Duo laughed at her confussion and her sudden excitement. He was very proud of his bike, one of the few luxuries his keeper let him take to Japan. Sometimes he talked about his ride like it was his mistress, but he'd hold on the "bike is my lady" jokes for the night. At the moment, there was only one lady taking all his attention.
"Here, lemme..." He fixed the helmet position on her head, checking that no hair got badly tangled inside it. "Are ya sure ya don't want a hairtide for the trip? I have some extra ones." He asked while walking towards the bike.
