Y'know, those four shots would look great in an art show. They tell a story, the lighting in the photos is great...just the red curtain for background, nothing distracting from the actions of the two men... it's wonderful..

Thank you.

You're too kind, really... I'm touched. You see, I'm kinda jealous of these four manips, I'm very proud of them and I wasn't sure if I wanted to share them with the world.
Now I know I did right. ;)
Thanks for your words, I'm so glad I've been able to communicate exactly what was (and is) in my heart.

Ahaahahahahahahah!!!

If there was justice in the world, this scene should have been enough to get CM an Emmy.
Great pics.

OT - I had overlooked, in the prologue of your 1st OZ article,
that some of your favorite movies are also mine : 'Death in Venice',; 'Furyo' ( I think this is the title, in some European countries, of 'Merry Christmas, Mr Lawrence', isn't it ? ); 'Belli e Dannati' ( I' m guessing this is Visconti's 'The Damned' ? ).
Great minds think alike.*g*

LOL your icon! ^^

Agree. Totally.

About the movies: yup, "Furyo" is "Merry Xmas Mr. Lawrence", but "Belli e Dannati" is Gus Van Sant's "My Own Private Idaho" (with River Phoenix&Keanu Reeves, two of my best loved actors ever); those are only a few of my favourite movies.
I love almost everything by Visconti, and I guess "The Damned" is "La caduta degli dei" (another masterpiece)?
Here - if you want to take a look - is a "list" of the movies I love, it's not complete, but you can have an idea. ;)

Great minds think alike.*g*

Definitely. ;)

I remember'My Own Private Idaho'. Good movie.
Yes 'The Damned' is 'La Caduta degli Dei'.
So many masterstrokes : Helmut Berger, at the beginning of the film, dressed as Marlene in the 'Blue Angel' and at the end, in his SS uniform. The path taken by Germany.
I have to look for my tape : the SA's party and that peaceful moment by the lake, before the SS arrive and the Night of the Long Knives begins is fabulous.

Great movie list. Have you seen 'The Wedding Banquet', by Ang Lee ?

You perfectly got in a few words what was the point in a piece of cinema's history as "La caduta degli dei". And that wonderful scene you mention, the party on the lake before the terrible night, is the one that burnt into my memory.

>Have you seen 'The Wedding Banquet', by Ang Lee ?

Yup, and I loved it.
