[Jack Bauer has found himself a place to properly hide and keep a look out for anyone who passes by. A thick underbrush has served him well, the only thing that annoys him is the fact that his bag was full of rats. (With the black plague, but Jack Bauer obviously doesn't know that, yet.)]
[At one point in the night, Jack Bauer was starving and he figured that since he had the rats, why not use one for food? Right now, he was regretting that, seeing as he was suffering from a fever and he could barely swallow his own saliva.]
Dammit...
[He rises out from the underbrush, slowly moving along to find a stream. The exhaustion was taking effect, and the other rats were now out of the bag, scurrying along the floor of the island.]
