I am very sorry about your friends disappearance. I disappeared some time ago and reappeared, but there is little I can tell you. The one thing I can say is people do return, and while some, like myself, retain memories of the island others, like Miss Dahlia, do not remember anything of their time here.

There is a good chance this Miss Mai will return, if that is any consolation.

...I do have a question, though. You say you disappeared and then came back. Do you remember anything between the time of your disappearance and the time of your return?

No, I remember nothing I'm afraid. At times my memories of my time in the island before my disappearance is hazy, otherwise it's as though I simply woke up in the woods twice. I am sorry I can not be of more help. If anything it does seem that there is a chance she will return.
