Well today I settled a 6K (though I really only owed about 3-4K of it) debt for $1331.68.  The CC company kept charging an outrageous "Periodic Finance Charge" and a slew of other charges that just kept piling the debt up on the card until I was over the limit, and then started compounding it with over limit fee's etc..  So about a year ago or so I
