So now that OU has a win this season, I can actually post something. I was sorely disappointed with our performance last week and my opinion has only slightly improved after this week. We have SO much work to do and we only have a little of time to get it done. We play UCLA next week in California and it's not going to be pretty unless we can

don't give Bomar too much grief, neither INT was really his fault. Though I too am surprised at our play calling. Didn't we recruit this kid for his arm? That would suck, to be the #1 HS prep QB, and come to a school to hand off for 3 years to AD. More play-action, more option, let's give the kid a chance to show what he can do.

Next week really worries me. I have this feeling that we'll get destroyed on the road right now. I'd also be worried about KSU right now, though its at home so that won't be as bad. My guess is 2-2 going into the Cotton Bowl.

And even with teams ahead of us losing this week (Michigan, Iowa, UT/OSU), I think we're going to drop in the polls from #18. Maybe not completely out of the top 25, but 22-24 seems about right.

Didn't get to watch it (listened on radio), so I maybe my comments on Bomar/our offense will change when I see it.

Knowing you I guess I can forgive you for that ... but living in Austin and NOT knowing it's football season? Where have you been? In a cave?!?!? *grin*

Well, I did notice that someone (read: Aggie) turned all the Longhorn flags in the office upside down on Thursday. I didn't see that as indicating football season... I just assumed someone had finally gotten around to correcting the situation. :-)
