Um ... favourite lines/parts from each one (I can't help it, I love these too much!):
1. Touches like he wants to map the contours of Alex's body to memory.
I'm reminded of Kristen Scott Thomas in 'The English Patient'; specifically the letter she writes to Almasy (mostly the part where she talks about maps and marking it all on her body) here. There are no words to describe the atrocities that that film committed to Michael Ondaatje's book, but that letter is just so ... guh ...
2. Alex is looking at the wet outline of Daniel’s back, the shift of his shoulders, the trails of rain sliding down the angle of his cheekbone and he has an overwhelming urge to taste Daniel

I remember your Daniel/Alex Edler fic "Like a Bullet in the Back" so vividly --everything about it just floored me. You had me sworn on Daniel/Edler from there. :) Haha, you have converted me to so many pairings! I really adore that fic, and in this I wanted to write something that maybe caught a little of the feeling I had when I read your marvelous Daniel/Alex Edler fic.
I guess in my head Alex Edler wanting Daniel is some terrible gorgeous impossible thing unless they're in some AU where Daniel isn't married... I'm in love with the idea of them together, ah I want my Swedish love so bad...
I've never read or watched The English Patient, but those words in that clip are so poignant and rich. I'd like to check that out when I have the chance.
And Miles Davis! I love him on a rainy day.
I think the funniest thing during writing this was finding out that Alex wants his theme song to be "Unforgiven" from Metallica?!? Haha! Btw long comments are the best! ;) Here's me rambling back a long ( ... )

Apparently Lu's favorite singer is John Mayer but I didn't manage to fit one of those songs in there, because well, everyone secretly likes John Mayer right? ; )
