The #1 thing for me is probably the thought of the next, closest good thing coming. Today, my thought is the two-day "working" vacation of piracy on the coast at a seafood and wine festival. Sunday, it will be getting the hell back home and out of crazy festival. :) I live pretty intensely in the now, so where the thought of, say, the wedding, for instance, makes me really giddy and excited and happy, it makes me less bubbly on momentary, current basis than getting free coffee because, well, wedding's way out in the future yet and free coffee is now.

I stress out about the optimistic stuff, even, sadly. I mean, I have goals, but I'm trying not to cling to them too tightly lest I screw them up.

Even if that huge wave never comes, there is a good chance I will have some good small moments in there that I would not want to miss.
