Oh... this breaks my heart. I'm sorry Hedva's family cut off contact with you, and that you never got closer to them. I am glad you do have someone who is special to you, and I hope she feels the same way about your time together. Good for you for taking a moment to tell her how much you care. <3

Thank you. I called and spoke with Sondra for about 45 minutes, which is a fairly typical length, lol. She was very glad to hear from me, and I made sure to tell her that she was like a mom to me. ❤️
