yep, i'm here for a 'preliminary' field visit--i.e. to see what's going on, make contacts, talk tot people, collect some data etc..will be here for much longer next year. So you'll be in chennai--cool cool--i was there last year, pondicherry to be exact--nice place, great food. i'll be in india (delhi, himacha) from 20th august till 14th September, when i fly back to the US. Lemme know when you'll be in delhi--it'll be nice to chat.
