Gay marriage and adoption are completely legal here, but we don’t have the right to have a different sexual preference in our Constitution. The powers that be are going to fix that these next few weeks but of course the ultra-conservative dickheads are trying to pull back the ‘Right of sexual Preference

Wow, how does that work!? Same sex marriage and adoption okay but being gay is not O_x;

It's no that being lgtb is illegal, more like it isn't recognized by the law. Hopefully that will change in the next couple of weeks.

Is it like here in the states where same sex marriages must be called domestic partnerships (and don't get the tax benefits) then? Cali tried to change it through the courts but Prop. 8 happened and you can see conservative christains passing out pamplets at every street corner and they won out in the end through the ballots :(

Yeah, the thing is that the ultra conservative wing of the catholicism and the governing party, the PAN, are saying that this law will open the door to pedophilia and bestiality.

Just recently I had a fight with a fellow journalist that made an article against this law but she quoted psichology books from 1956!!!!
