Polipe, Booster Terrik's second in command, was looking down at him, giving him a sick sort of sympathetic smile and offering him a few arms up. "Hold the boy still, Polipe!" Booster Terrik ducks a flailing arm. "I'm trying to contact Jagged, here!"

"Itsh eashier shaid than done, Booshter!" The fishy copilot shouts back to his boss as he tries to contain the struggling teenager.

"Let go of me!" Wedge howls at Polipe, straining to reach the comm gear. "I have to help them!" That's one of the basic rules on board the station - you always help out your family. Just him and his parents, they're all each other has now that his sister has run off.

"We're doing everything we can, Veggies," says Booster, outwardly unnaturally calm, if tense. He turns away again, back to the ship's controls and the scene visible out the viewport--the fuel station in flames, explosions going off; the ships fleeing in every direction, and that long trail of floating fuel--and he tilts the mouthpiece of the comm closer to his mouth.

"Hey, Jagged, can you hear me?"

On board the fuel station, Jagged Antilles has his back pressed to a bulkhead and his wife at his side as he yells into his own comm. "I hear you, Booster! Is Wedge okay?" He doesn't bother to move the mouthpiece as he waves the crowd of frightened people past him, down the corridor to safety, and shouts, "This way, everyone!"
