Greg and I have been talking about some things in regards to our relationship and marriage, and the prospect of allowing me to sleep with other men every so often. Personally I think this is kinda cheesy though, and has a lot of potential for things to get messy, and not in a good way

You have to look at his rationale for suggesting it for you and how it applies to you .... then look at if you could have sexual relations with another man without having an emotional attachment. I never met you in person but I think you could.

I probably could, but the thing is that it's hard not to have an emotional attachment to someone. Sex isn't really just a few pleasurable movements and a climax for me. It's also an expression of intimacy and friendship, and I can't do that with just any stranger.

It isn't just the act, it is the aftermath and the emotional turmoil ... but if you treated it as a grudge session that might help you more.
