Having been down to the kitchens and had a look at the food- and the people prepairing it- and made certain that both were trustworthy, Moody offers Penny his arm. He picks a table where they can see all of the exits, and most everyone else in the room, and pulls out a chair for her.

Neither am I. *Shakes her head.* I imagine they think they've been quite clever.

*laughs* Of course they do. *Props her elbow on the table, rests her chin in her hand, and glances over at the men. She catches Jack's eye, smiles breifly at him, and returns her gaze to Penny.* We could call them on it, I suppose.

*Considers* Oh, let's not. Alastor already looks like he's about to have a heart attack, and I think we'd probably just confuse the hell out of Jack.

A little confusion now and then is good for him. *Smiles, and reaches over to pull the pile of photographs towards her.*

Ooh, pictures! *She looks at them as Irina hands them to her.* Gods, Isabelle's grown.

*Penny smiles* Awwww, that's lovely. *She looks over at Jack and Moody, now engaged in an animated debate about who knows what. She speaks quietly.* He really has it figured out sometimes, hasn't he?

Of course he remembers, Irina. I don't think he forgets much, honestly. And, sometimes it seems that it's just as important- maybe more important- to know what not to do. Or so I'm told.

Not that I've given this much thought, or anything. 'Course not.

No, he doesn't.

*faint smile* Well. I think you were told the truth, Penny. Sydney turned out quite well, despite my faults, and Jack's.

*Penny reaches across the table and grasps her hand.* Look... I know you guys had, ah, an interesting time of things. I also know you could have done a lot worse, no matter how skewed your priorities might've been. You may have screwed up a few times, but you loved her.

*pause* Thank you.

*Irina studies her fingernails, speaking almost idly.* They could no longer be a problem for you, if you wish.

They're not really a problem now.
