(Though I feel the same way about Captive Prince--I'm glad I didn't read it till just now, both because I dislike tearing my hair out and because I got to read it in one or two long sittings right up to those last few chapters. I can't imagine waiting years for that much resolution.)

Idk, I'm kind of glad--at least there was something of a stopping point, if cliffhanger-y, at the end of book 2. ...though there could be quite a wait for the next one, I suppose, while the author whips up the ebook release, in which case maybe it would've been better to avoid that?

It's not that I don't get why you would think that. But CH 28 was posted in February. Come on, I've definitely stepped up the whineyness since February. I know I have because it was a conscious decision!!!

I've been following Captive Prince for years now {years!}, back from when it was updated at least twice a month. Now my way to read it is to ignore it for a few months and then reread everything before catching up again. :D

Has not disappointed me since, and has helped me beat down the addiction.

Have you read all the way up the the end of Book Two? Because that's a TERRIBLE TERRIBLE PLACE TO STOP buuuuuut still better than like any chapter prior, jfc am I glad I wasn't there for those waits.
