All of this, yes. KALINDA, I just. Swooping in to save the day and then being nobly self-sacrificing because she doesn't want Alicia to reject her ;___; Why can't they be friends already?

And yeah, I have no idea what's going on with Cary/Kalinda/Dana except that it would be HOT and anyone making Kalinda feel loved is A++++ in my book, except it'll never happen because this show just likes to hurt its protagonists. Thank god for Kalinda and Will being awesome bros and drinking/talking about their feelings (in fact, if Will had been able to talk about his feelings as much to Alicia as he does to Kalinda, their relationship might have lasted longer).

EVERYTHING YOU SAID. I can't wait for you to post your own reaction to the ep (unless you did and I missed it?) because you always write the BEST REVIEWS but ugh, yes, Kalinda, HOW is she so fantastic and WHY DOES THIS SHOW LIKE TO BREAK MY HEART SO MUCH THEY NEED TO MAKE UP ALREADY. Lol I was about to typo that as "they need to make love already". BUT REALLY MAYBE THAT TOO. God, Kalinda needs someone whom she believes loves her so, so much, and I would honestly love that to be Cary. I didn't ship them at all once, but at this point it feels like he's the only one who actually cares about her -- Will cares too, be he doesn't know what to do about it and she won't let him and he's too concentrated on himself to really help her anyway. And it's not like I want Cary to swoop in and save her or anything -- I think there's a lot she gives Cary too -- I don't know, hmm, maybe this is why a threesome setting would actualy work better for them. Because it'd be less intimate than just her and Cary, and she'd be more in control, and... I don't ( ... )

I did, it's just a lot of 'oh Kalinda' and 'poor Will'.

Will&Kalinda - you're right, Will does care, and if Kalinda wanted to talk he would listen, as he's offered a few times already. Except that judging by their interactions, Kalinda is emotionally... healthier (IDK if that's the word I'm looking for, Kalinda is not exactly the posterchild of emotional health) than Will and he probably wouldn't be able to really help beyond listening. Cary is much better off in that regard, at least when it comes to Kalinda - he was able to get through to her somewhat in the previous season, so he might succeed again except that he's also self-centred and currently being pulled in many different directions that might end up hurting Kalinda even more ( ... )

It was a great episode. I really also loved how wrong Diane was about Will and Alicia because usually she's right on the money.

I'm not sure that Kalinda is ready to be emotionally vulnerable with Cary (or anyone else). She is the most guarded person I've ever seen.

She is, and I don't think she's ready yet either -- but oh, god, I wish it happened, even if it takes a while. Sometimes she breaks my heart.

(The scene with Alicia this week, though, in the car? ♥.)
