Hahaha. Your liking it is why I adore you right back :D That and more.

(PS, because it is on occasion hard to keep track: do you read any Bandom fic in general?)

That is awesome enough in and of itself. I won't do my whole obsessive pimping spiel because I can get, um, kind of aggressive about it, but I will say that music-not-your-taste = mostly irrelevant, don't know enough about = can be easily remedied in various creative ways that won't consume too much time and also slightly irrelevant, and length of W&P -- not all of them, and if they are then they're probably worth it :-)

WHICH IS TO SAY: if you want me to rec you anything more tailored to your interests at any length, I can very much do that and gently walk you through any necessary background info you need to enjoy the fic. If you ever want to :D But seriously no pressure.

once again I must applaud your general and specific brilliance - this couldn't be better (unless it were wearing body glitter)!

I kept cracking up while reading this, but I think the joy-killers and Adam's an oath to serve and use protection were the bits that sent me to the floor

Thank you! :D

Hahaha, that line came to me in a bus ride yesterday and I immediately jotted it down and just kept cackling to myself. Adam takes protection very seriously, okay?

Thank you! :D

The Discworld novels are awesome -- you don't have to read the in order, and the first one I read was Soul Music, which introduces the idea of rock 'n roll (=Music With Rocks In) to the Discworld, and also introduces the character of Susan, Death's granddaughter, who has to take over when he goes AWOL. There's also an animated cartoon of the same book (found in its entirety on youtube, actually). Anyway -- I do think it's a good book to start with, but maybe that's just because it worked for me :-)
