Hahaha, I have no idea, frankly -- the charity post has over 3000 comments so I don't know where the idea emerged, but someone pledged to donate a lot of money (don't know the total) if people could get Kris to tweet "poop" at Adam, so folks started spamming the different Idols with tweets asking them to get Kris to do it, and then Alex Trugs, season 8 Top 36er, got on it as well and asked Kris to do it, and then Kris did. And then people were hoping Adam would reply, and then Adam did, saying "Neil [Adam's brother] says bubbletweet". And now people are saying they'll donate more for a joint Kradam bubbletweet -- sum's up to $2290 so far -- so here's hoping that the TBC will reap results :-) And all of this started when _ai and _startrek decided to have a contest of who could raise more money for Haiti over the weekend, overall raising $31K, so that's pretty awesome.

I know right. It's funny how closely I associate people with their icons. Like, if I catch yours out of the corner of my eye, I get a happy excited feeling. I really noticed it when people were living with changed ones for 24 hours in this last round of fundraising...

Hee, yes, totally. I actually only use this icon with AI people because in places like ontd_ai you really are recognizable only by your icon, if at all... It's become my stand-in default icon. Because, um, I've kind of tended to post a lot of AI related comments in the last few months.
