Hee it's like a jingle. IDK, I'm not used to Hanukkah songs with verses and choruses and everything. It's always just the first verse, maybe second, and half the song repeats itself anyway.

There's a song I was taught in the US, though, that I loved, and I googled the lyrics and they didn't have a single google hit, and I wonder if anyone knows it. The first verse began with:

Once upon a time there was a temple
A temple that was something something something

and then the rest of the verse

and then the chorus went:
Eight days of Hanukkah, eight days of Hanukkah
Eight days of something something light
Eight days for something something
Eight days you and me
Something something something something something

and the music was this.

Also now I can't stop reading this comment to the tune of Alexander Rybek's "Fairytale." ~Years ago there was a temple! Kinda like the Western Wall! It was great but then they traifed it! That was then, but now it's all, I'M IN LOOOOOVE WITH HANUKAAAAAH~

LOL, no, it's not that. I think I'm gonna have to look through the VCR tapes of our 1992/1993 Hanukkah performance at the JCC to see if it's there... but man, I have to say, the song you linked has one uglyass tune.

Also lol, I love you for bringing the Eurovision into this. It makes everything magical.
