I learned from last week's (lack of) episode post, and this time, I typed up my reactions as I was watching the episode. This made watching the episode take about three hours, but whatever, I had a test this morning, I allowed myself the afternoon time-wasting

Ian McShane makes EVERYTHING gorgeous. I'm going to need him to sign for another TV show--preferably on HBO--like...yesterday.

Hee, well, I still haven't seen Deadwood, so I have enough to catch up on -- I'm good for now.

Wtf? The vow is stupid, but that was pretty ridiculous. UGH GOD YES. Man, what is up with that vow. Soooo stupid. I'm trying to think of a single Old Testament character who made an abstinence vow of any kind, and can't. People made vows pleading with God to give them children, not the other way around! ...and yeah, like if Silas doesn't know, it never happened and the vow was never broken! Michelle, I don't think you're quite getting the concept of an omniscient deity there

When I start watching, I'll definitely post about it, I'm sure. I mean, I love westerns enough already, and I love TV shows -- there is no way it can go wrong :-)
