Everyone's flailing about the Chuck finally finally got me to give in and catch up on season 2, and y'all were right -- it does, indeed, get incredibly awesome. And the season was surprisingly overflowing with people I know from other shows -- Richard Woolsey, Caprica Six, Momma Smash. And, uh, more. Also, Awesome and Ellie -- I love them so much,

Hee, it really is. The photo isn't exactly the right color, it's twoo saturized -- my skin tone is lighter than that -- but all in all it's just a little bit lighter than that. Like, bubble-gum-ish candy sweet. I kind of want to lick it.

Hee, thank you! They're already starting to chip away :-( My fascination with them btw, four days later, has still not worn off. It's starting to get alarming.

I now want to wear it myself. Except that it would look terrible on my complexion. And I never wear nailpolish anyway.

There's a first time for everything! I never wore any before now too, not anything with an actual color. You can start with transparent polish that just adds gloss -- I believe they call it "strengthener" or whatever to make it sound necessary. That also makes for pretty fingernails.

The next step now is: sparkles!

Those are some very pretty fingernails. I don't usually like pink, but that looks really nice.

I have some polish that can best be described as dark copper that I love, but my guys look scandalized every time I wear it. :D

Hee, scandalized reactions are half the fun! I mean, new shade of nail polish, big freaking deal, you'd think you were dressed like a Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue cover girl. Copper, in any case, sounds very cool :-)

YAY CHUCK! I am happy it was renewed, even if it was at the expense of, sigh.

Also if you want I can badger the polish-owner to lend it to me again and then you can try it out.

Wait, has there been definite news about Chuck? I know a renewal is likely, but I never saw an actual announcement.

Oh, maybe not? Um, I'm not sure, I haven't really been following. Looking it up now, you're right, it looks like it hasn't been decided yet.

If it turns out to have been cancelled after all, there had better be some good post-finale fic. (And possibly an Ellie-finds-out webisode.)
