But atleast there's the possibility of a sequel and a little story from Jim's POV. That's keeping me sane right now.

Because them in that universe is my life.

Goodness! Omg, her characterization of them is just so unique. And her Bones is so freaky confident and sexy. Wow. It's so juicy.

One of my favorite scenes is when Bones makes Jim come back to his quarters after the movie drama is over and makes him soup. OMG. JIM. and BONES. and CUDDLE.

*sigh*

If she doesn't write a sequel I might die from withdraw. And it will be so interesting to see her write from Jim's POV, since I'm so used to her being so entrenched in Bones' head.

So, I just finished Dancer from the Dance- if it doesn't rock your world then I'm not sure what will. Sutherland is to die for (literally) and Malone is beautifully romantic till the end. They will break your heart and then rebuild it with lines such as: Darling, repeat after me; my face seats five.

If you have time to read this book. DO IT. It's not very long but it will change your life and your writing.

if you're in a bad mood, spartacus blood and sand is pretty awesome because its SOFTCORE PORN MEN KILLING EACH OTHER SOFTCOREPORN NAKED MEN. but if you're squeamish about blood, i wouldn't recommend it.

ummmmm. book recs: middlesex. i know its old but i haven't had the chance to read for pleasure in a long time.

Sshhhhhh. that makes me sound like a serial killer.

its about an intersex man who is born with a genetic disorder that causes him to appear as a girl up until puberty, so his family raises him as female up until he's like 15. it's about how he deals with it, but it's also about his family and Greece and Detroit and it's just a really good read.

butting in here -- middlesex is awesome! i'm not totally sure about the end, but the contrasting generations and the storytelling was lovely.
