Oh, I like this story!
Jacob/Selmak are my favourites and I' m always looking forward to their appearance.
I like Lantash, too, and would even have appriciated to have him survived in Elliot.
If you now only can restore Aldwin somehow...
But this is too greedy, I suppose.
Poison is a good idea to explain Selmak 's illness.
I had another idea; maybe a challenge:
What if Egeria wanted to make Selmak a Queen, but was disturbed during this process, and left her with an incomplete code of live?
The DnA would shorten each time it was doubled...

Thank you!

Good idea for a challenge! You should add it to the challenge page on Symbiotica! Do you have an account there? Otherwise I can add the challenge to the list for you.

Of course I know Symbiotica! Right now I' m busy again with your stories there.
I already finished Hathor_Girl 's things, the Round Robins, most of Pagan Twylight's stories ( there is only one left; the so called novel....),
and some unsorted stuff.
I liked your idea of Jolinar becoming allied with Egeria, an absolutely interesting solution!
And I am admiring you for writing so fantastc fiction in a language, which you did not grow up with.
I did some translation for Marnie, but I could never write a whole story in English in such an eloquent style.
