Wow, LJ has been DEAD the past couple of days! I have like 100 friends and only about 2 pages on my friends page from the last couple days. Everyone must be busy having a real life or something *lol ( Read more... )

About piercings: I wonder how bad scars youth will have when they decide to give the piercings up.. Maybe the plastic surgeons will have great future? :D

10,000 BC is AWESOME, despite the fact that its getting a lot of bad reviews from critics. It got a tad boring at times but overall I thought it had a really had a good story behind it.
I'm not much one for a lot of piercings, and I've seen a few folks (much like Xerxes) who look like a walking jewelry store... you know when they do stuff like that that they're got some kind of ungodly obsession or are slightly off mentally.

It looks like a cool movie, and the fact that critics hate it is actually a good sign for me since I tend to ignore whatever they say anyway *lol*.

Then again, I am a sucker for Sabretooth Tigers and all sorts of pleistocine era animals.

And I agree about some piercing addicts being a bit "off" mentally.

Ooh, we've just found the wonders of pom juice with lemonade as well!! I absolutely love pomegranates so we've been buying Pom juice since they're out of season now. I can drink it straight, but lately we've been on a lemonade kick (we buy Simply Lemonade... best.lemonade.EVAR). I decided to put a little Pom in with the lemonade and OOOHhhh so good! :)

You know, I've often thought of getting a Madonna/Marilyn Monroe or getting my nose pierced. I only want one facial piercing, but I don't want to have to deal with a retainer, either. For now it's just a few piercings in the ears and the tongue. I had others, but they're gone now.

LJ has been really slow the last couple of days. I really think it's the weekend. It's always slow on the weekend..

I haven't decided whether I want to see 10,000 BC...it looks interesting enough, but I'm not sure yet.

I haven't had fresh pomegranate either, but I love anything with pomegranate in it. Yum! Also, when I scanned your other comments and got to the one that mentioned Pom juice...totally read that as porn juice. Ewww.

One thing I haven't been able to get behind is that whole ear-stretching thing. It just looks grotesque, and once my mom sent me this email full of pictures of people with weird piercings and tattoos and there was one guy who had a SODA CAN through his EARLOBE and I have not been able to BLEACH THAT IMAGE OUT OF MY BRAIN, GAAAAAAAH!
