Yesterday at work, they provided a free lunch for the employees at Bergners due to the community day sale. It was pretty good food for the most part, catered by a local grocery store and other items brought in by employees and charities

Informal setting = fingers are quite fine (work is ALWAYS informal). Tell 'em to piss off. Chicken on the bone is a pain in the ass to eat with a knife and fork.
If the chicken wasn't fried or barbecued, I might reconsider and attempt eating with a fork, but it's unlikely.

Of course, there's probably more...it never actually dawns on me that I'm eating with my hands at the time (when I'm at home....I DO have manners when I go out LOL)
