The Politics of Dining.

I have had a lot of free time this week, so when that happens (or even when it doesn't) my mind has a tendency to wander, muse, and think about some of the goofiest things. A recent one occurred yesterday as I was running around town doing errands. I think most people in this country are really ignorant as to what exactly many governmental ( Read more... )

I don't think democracy is THAT screwed up, and I think they would only argue for an hour. :p

How I wish it was this simple! Great way to break it down!

Not if one of the people in the group was a vegen *lol* or on a special diet (read special interest)... then it might last a lot longer than 2 hours *lol*

Thanks :)

That wouldn't be true Anarchy though, that would be quasi-democratic anarchy. I'm sure there is a name for that kind of government, but I can't think of it. Rule by committee and consensus.

I am talking about no government, no order, no leaders or groups... chaotic anarchy. Of course that can't last very long so people form up into groups and committees and form primitive proto-governments *lol*

I do like the potluck analogy though *lol*. And the icon is pretty cool as well :)

This made me laugh.

Ahh, wow. I get it NOW. I didn't know that was part of the "definition." Seriously, with communism back home, overthrown, see growing up, BEFORE that happened, I thought that *bribing* was just a natural thing to do... you wanted better, the only thing you had to do is pay them, and they would get it for you! I was surprised, coming to the US - not many people actually *took* bribes, even when offered...

lol @ Democracy...

That's awesome, btw. I think you should mount that or something. Definitely good.
