Today we've got a double feature birthday party (youngest and oldest are turning 16 and 20 respectively, omg, let me digest that knowledge for a moment...) so I've been cooking this morning and we expect the first guests any moment now. I always thought I'd be a freak out mom, but it turns out I'm not so much actually. It's something you never really know how that will be until you get there.

Ah, it reminds me of Collectormania 2003, when your parents were worried about you going to the UK to meet up with these suspicious people you'd met online!

I know! I totally remember that. It's still a miracle to me that they actually let me go. And let me share a hotelroom with m_l_h who I'd never met at that time!

I know! And I can't say I worried a lot or it kept me up at night at all. She's coming home today and I'm looking forward to hear what she's been up to (and since she takes after her dad like that, I expect hundreds of pictures...)
