After working for Disney and dealing with people who ask you literally any and everything Disney related when they come to the parks, I'd say it's better to have people who are big fans working for you as it enhances the guests' experience. I guarantee you people going the castle are going to ask what we consider trivia questions about the show, and it would be nice to have an answer for them instead of "oh, I just work here and know about the attraction". Not everyone going there is going to know everything about Merlin, you know?
