Stuff that made me happy lately:

1) I've been going through my Merlin picture folders and I came across a picture of Merlin from when they just started filming and it struck me how much Colin has changed over the past few years. ( See for yourself behind the cut. )

People keep reccing that story. I really dislike clowns. Is there a lot about clowns in it?

No, not at all! I dislike clowns too and after the moment Colin has met Bradley at one of those parties it's only referred to that he goes off to work or comes back tired. We see way more of Colin making muffins :D

It's all very AU but for me the characters are the way I see them, just in a different situation.

He looks thinner than a couple of years ago, but not as thin as last year. He's young and healthy and he works hard but not so hard that it's too hard to take. It looks like he's found a balance. I mean, he loves doing what he does, it's what he always wanted and I think he's getting better at dealing with the things that come with it that he didn't seem to be quite so prepared for, like interviews and fan attention and such. He looks quite comfortable in his own skin :D

I agree. He looks healthier than he did the end of last season. But really, he never seemed UNhealthy, just very skinny. And he seems to be getting more comfortable with all the attention, which I know as a creative introvert is hard.

I admit I like skinny guys though. Never bothered me.

Oh yea and thanks for the fic recs. Really there is SO much being written I feel so overwhelmed and don't know what to read. I rely on recs.

I so agree with you there! I miss the curls at the nape, but I also love the v-shape his hair makes now in his neck and how his neck is more exposed. The only hairstyle I didn't like on him was when it was longish on top and in the front and short in his neck. Not that I would have kicked him out of bed to get a better haircut... *grins*

He used to have some 'baby-fat' and now that's burned off and he's found a middleway between that and how frail he frankly looked last year I love how defined and strong his features are ♥

I'm pretty much even in what I like reading, FPS and RPS.

Fandom is making me very happy at the moment :D
