How about Elementary/Indiana Jones/Primeval...

Sherlock has a hard time believing Watson when she tells him she has seen dinosaurs, even after meeting her grandfather.

Or something with Once Upon a Time and Elementary where Holmes refuses to believe he is a storybook character.

Or... if you're familiar with Person of Interest... one where Holmes or Watson (or her grandfather ;) ) has their number come up...

And I thought of a lyric quote that might inspire something: "I'm glad that I'm laughing. It's a good way to die."

(OUAT/Elementary)

Elementary/Castle: Sherlock finds this Richard Castle fascinating, even if he is a novelist. He's certainly no Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (brilliant, brilliant man) but fascinating nonetheless.

Captain Gregson was in attendance at a policemans academy reunion event, where one of the guests of honor was an author chap by the name of Richard Castle - who counted among his fans, Watson's mother and impending sister-in-law...which meant Joan had to find a way to attend. And the 2 hour rule meant Sherlock himself had to come along too, which made it simplicity itself for Gregson to justify her presence to any beancounters who questioned.

And as Holmes was wrapping up telling a particularly non-scary tale to an audience of teens and police here in one end of the auditorium, mentally plotting how to handle Watson after she had left him with this audience. Perhaps I will begin installing the apiary in her bedroom after all - she's not allergic, I know. He could see her on the other side of the audience, chatting with someone she had briefly offhandedly mentioned she knew from therapy ( ... )
