Areas of New York and New England hit by Hurricane Sandy (and other regions done damage by the storm) will be getting their voting stations and voting booths today.

Are you sure about this?

I saw a report saying that this was a lie being circulated by Facebook and e-mail and that it simply was not true.

NB: I can find no trace of this except as speculation.
