As he came closer, Neal couldn't banish from his mind that ancient warning to all thieves. It was the eyes, Caffrey suspected: all-seeing, peering right into his heart.
It wasn't the first time he'd kissed a man. Not even the first time with any audience - the last time had been friendlier on both scores, in Neal's opinion.
When the kiss was over, Cal Lightman glanced once more at the tissues around Neal's eyes and lips, and said, "Well, you ain't lying."

"Oh yeah," Kono said, "the original deck of strip poker cards, and the Twister of - who did you say it belonged to?"
"No-one who made the history books. And that is a gun pressing into my shoulder."
"Layered clothing - these mountains get cold - or that was the idea when we left after dark. And whose Tesla was pressing into my hip for an hour?" Kono sighed. "Anyway, we have everything right here - except a way to call and tell the others that we found what we're all looking for."
"That is incontrevertable. Fortunately, neither of these Artifacts are lethal," H.G. said.
"Says the woman who was in a corset."
H.G. looked at her, but before she could reply, the door opened and Danny Williams and Claudia Donovan burst into the room.
"Oh there you two ar- whoa! Would it have killed either of you to have put a sock on the door, or something?"

As they exited the Anomaly, "You aren't supposed to do that to extinct species," Helen said, unable to remove the image of that poor Tyrannosaur from her mind.
"I don't like things trying to eat me," Ancient Mai replied just before making the prison door melt into dust. "You're coming with us," she said to the lone prisoner inside.
"Who are you?" Nikki asked, though she recognized Helen Cutter from security files in Treadstone and related operations - of the other one, Nikki only knew she was reportedly known as 'Ancient Mai.' "Did Jason send you?"
"This is bigger than Jason Bourne," Helen said. Nick always said I didn't care enough to save humankind...this time, I am. "And you're helping."
"If you say no, after all this, I'm going to do one of two things, both unpleasant," Ancient Mai said. The first would be to leave you with Harry Dresden. The second would be to make you a peace gift to the Skinwalkers."She's hungry," Helen said
