Alphas! I haven't written a reaction yet, but I actually like it quite a bit.
I have no faith in H50 this season at all. They pretty much lost me as soon as I heard new people were joining the team - it feels like they're white washing it. The show is so ridiculous anyway, that I'm mostly watching so I can follow the fic anyway.
I should probably catch up on Castles some time. I only got through the first season and then fizzled, though I do like the show.
granted, Castle is in danger of being like CSI:New York or another show where 90% of the plots revolve around the main character...but Castle is owning up to that, even using it...this is the tiniest spoiler ever: "Grow up, dad, you're a writer."
(and you'll be surprised who the Conspiracy includes) :)
>white washing it that's basically what the old Governor did - white-washed all McGarrett's actions. while we may not be dealing with Governor Williams*, I'll give the new guy a chance to knock McGarrett to the curb when he goes too far.
* = according to IMDB, he was in the Five-0 movie.
there's only two things I reeeeally don't like about Alphas: 1) how they're forcing Nina/Kyle or whatever his name is - the one who sees trajectories. 2) they opened the season with stating that Alphas are Alphas because of brain wiring...and now they have a catavari? (poison touch)...to be fair, that was probably one of the Cold War Alphas who were experimented on, thus altered.
