As you now (presumably) know, this is one of this series' 'misleading titles' - like The Doctor's Wife.

maybe as a happy memory tied to regeneration and healing and friendship?

(preceeded by all that "guilt - lots of guilt, guilt - is there anyone in teh universe I haven't screwed up)...and a bit of similarity to the end of the Year That Never Was, when everyone believed in the Doctor, and that helped heal him.

I'm thinking aloud by this point. need to stop that.

EDIT: that or, it was part of his attempt to get the automated program to display humanity. (why he'd want that, is another question entirely - or is it?)

just saw it...its heavily River-centric. (very very little Hitler - he's more a plot device than anything else...and never did I think I would say that about Hitler)

also has shout-outs to the first Amy Pond episode.
