This has me giggling as I think about what ancient Mai would do to poor Kirmani given the chance. The guy can't catch a break; but he doesn't deserve one after being so mean to Harry, does he?
I really like Harry's thoughts about his relationship with Murphy, too. You pack a lot into this little story.
