muscle
"You wanted to see me, ma'am?" Granger said, having been ushered into the tent where only two people were - both of them were FBI, one a woman, both standing. What the hell are they doing way out here?
"I'm Agent Liz Warner," Liz said. "This is Michael Kirkland," who brought me into this a little under a month ago. "I think what we're about to ask is right up your alley."
Colby didn't say anything.
Despite how loose and non-form-fitting the uniform was, Liz had a strong feeling that Colby was covered head-to-toe in muscles. "Go ahead. Say something."
"Ma'am, sir, I was trained to be good at more than one thing. So yeah, I've got more than a few strengths. So what? I'm a soldier and I'm here - my unit is here."
That was when Kirkland spoke, and swayed Colby to join their mole hunt.

tense
"Ev'rybody," Don said, his voice drawing his team to the bullpen, "I want you to meet Liz Warner, she just transferred in."
"Hey," Liz said, and as she said a few words...
Didn't trust me? Colby wondered about her. Even David wouldn't have noticed how Colby tensed up, because that's just how good Colby was. You *really* think nobody'll put two and two together? Or did you honestly not know you were going to join my team? 'Cause I'll admit, I've had a few dreams about you.

strength
"All right, alright, I'm coming," Colby said, and opened his apartment door inwards. Agent Warner, we meet again. People will talk. "Can I help you?"
As soon as Colby asked that, Liz moved - charging at him, pinning him against the wall, the door a trivial side issue at best. Years of restraint and protocol and propriety were like ghosts giving her this moment. "I missed you," Liz said. Meeting this soldier in the open fields of Afghanistan, following him along 'like a puppy' as Carter and others in the unit had joked...Colby affected me more than I thought he would - I thought we'd get him to be a triple agent, we'd pick up the odd note from him saying how things are going in that department, and no more. Boy was I wrong.
Not that I mind, Liz mentally ammended.
Colby could feel the wiry strength in those slender arms of hers. Not *built,* but definately great, he thought to himself. "Huh."

relinquish
They stayed together until it was time to rise for a quick breakfast before work. In the night, they had moved separately even together, until they eventually moved in concert, in unison. For a few hours, they relinquished their responsibilities in total silence.
When they separated to dress, the responsibilities were a more intimate garment they put on with the casual clothes.
