I'm tempted to say The Family of Man is their song....but, something I'm sure of -

Five Things:
1. When one of them spouts jargon, the other one knows what they're saying.
2. If they avoided every restaurant or cuisine they associate with an unpleasant experience, they'd be in big trouble - but that's not what they do anymore anyway: they've accepted that all things carry the weight of memories, and they live with it...together.
3. Tosh likes Sayid's backrubs.
4. They like sitting together where its nice and quiet, where the outside world can't pester them.
5. Even gods can play matchmaker - in this case, Jacob (Island) and Epona (Rift). And it's not like Toshiko was doing anything in her time anyway - just bleeding on the floor, so Epona picked her up and dropped her on the island.

Aww... these were lovely. I particularly liked 1. Really must write my own encounter between Sayid and Tosh (only a little shippy, however, and rather twisted) at some point.

Marcus/susan (Babylon 5 - I assume you've seen it)

Marcus and Susan are the only customers in Babylon Five's only Chinese restaurant (well, aside from an adventurous Pak'ma'ra).

1. Marcus knows Susan would win any fight between her and Delenn.
2. Neither ask one another about prior lovers or involvements, particularly not asking for comparisons with them.
3. After the series ended, Ivanova found she was a sacred figure to the Na'ka'leen Feeders, and she got them to bring Marcus back to life.
4. Neither Susan nor Marcus will ever find out just what that particular Vorlon God was in charge of (and they probably don't want to know).
5. You are their spiritual daughter.
