I don't believe it.....they wouldn't do that to a character -- would they?

I was watching commercials not long ago today, and I saw an advertisment for an upcoming show by the name of JourneyMan.

But here's the kicker, which I am having a hard time grasping:

I have a horrible feeling it bodes ill for Vorenus, as my husband said yesterday that he'd read somewhere that Vorenus does get killed at the end of this series. I wasn't a happy bunny when he told me that :(

More like it doesn't bode well for Rome. ;P

Season 2 is the last season, sorry my friend. They have no plans for a S3 sadly.

eeep!
:( at the news, :P at whomever is threatening cancelation, and "thank you" to you for letting me know.

no s3? c'mon show's-writers, there's roughly fifteen years of political manuvering before Octavian and Antony try to kill each other. (hm, leap ahead in time? the only actors hard-pressed to go with that, would be the ones portraying Octavius, Octavia, Pompey's children, and the Voreni kids)
just a thought.

*sigh* at least we've still got fanfic. (and a forum for it)

Getting s2 was good though since it was never intended as more than a miniseries. I agree there's so much that could be covered but apparently after getting a series and going into season 2 it was cancelled for s3 because it didn't have high enough ratings and was exceedingly expensive to shoot. Sad but noting to be done.

true...s2 is a boon.

Maybe if scifi channel picks it up, there'll be budget enough (and spare) for it....after all, there's enough blood in the saturday horror movies on that channel, that Rome wouldn't gross any viewers out.
(I know, I know, I'm wishing)
