My closed caption said Michael Westen was speaking with "British Accent."

...does anyone know what sort of British accent he was using? (South African? Leith? Cornwall?)

To my ears? He was using "Spike."

No. Seriously. He sounded like Spike from Buffy. It was kinda painful.

I dunno if I could call it just one accent. When he started out talking it sounded like one but then as soon as he dismissed Jimmy it changed.

Does sound a lot like Vinnie Jones accent most of the time though. Can't say what that is though but I'm sure it can be dug up.

Leith is in Scotland - another part of the British Empire

Leith and Cornwall are both in Britain (=England + Scotland + Wales). South Africa is not. Actually a Cornish accent and a Leith one are different enough that I wouldn't expect anyone coming to them cold to place them on the same side of the world, let alone the same island.

(I don't live in Britain, although I'm British--to be technical, a British subject/citizen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Complicated, I know. There's a Venn diagram somewhere.)
