Leith and Cornwall are both in Britain (=England + Scotland + Wales). South Africa is not. Actually a Cornish accent and a Leith one are different enough that I wouldn't expect anyone coming to them cold to place them on the same side of the world, let alone the same island.
(I don't live in Britain, although I'm British--to be technical, a British subject/citizen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Complicated, I know. There's a Venn diagram somewhere.)

Does sound a lot like Vinnie Jones accent most of the time though. Can't say what that is though but I'm sure it can be dug up.
