How do you do podfic?

Podfics are audio-downloads of fanfiction, read by the author or someone else. :)

Do you have a microphone for your computer? If so, all you need is a recording program like Audacity or GarageBand and you're good to go (erm. As far as I know, anyway. I've never recorded one myself).

Googling "how to record a podfic" turned up this page, which looks like it may be helpful. You might try searching for "podfic tutorial" or something similar, also.
