The news is out now. h5o-daily is closing down. I enjoy the things that I write, and I'd like to keep doing them. I don't know how, though. I could just post them here (but I don't know if anyone would read them). I could create a new community (but I don't know anything about running a comm). I could find a blog that would like a weekly

I enjoy them too much. A blog would be cool. You could share it on twitter, too. A new community is always quite some work. But the H50 fandom is quite large so maybe you would even find someone who'd join you in running it. :)

It's such a shame that h5o_daily is closing as I really liked reading it. I also really enjoy reading your recaps etc so it would be a real shame if you stopped posting them some place.

You could post them here or, as greg_fan_aurora said you could find someone interested in co-running a new community with you. I co-moderate a couple of communities (probably on a smaller scale to Five-0) but I'd be willing to help you out if you do want to open a new community yourself.

PS: I haven't watched Suits yet! Probably won't have time till tomorrow. Hope it was awesome!

I haven't watched "Suits" yet either - when it airs in the US it's about 3am my time so I wait until the evening and then watch it so I'll be watching it tonight. Looking forward to it. I don't want it to be over for the summer though :(

The person who runs the comm has started school and just doesn't have the time to devote to it anymore. It's totally understandable, and I told her I wouldn't be mad or anything. The schedule (every 4th day) was a little much for me anyway. I think I'd like to post once a week somewhere.

Why not post in your own journal and leave those entries unlocked? I'm pretty sure most of your posts also fall under the header of graphics, so you might be able to post links at the graph comms.

I rarely post anything that isn't H50, so that's definitely an option. I've been talking with a couple of people this morning about starting a new comm. Something that might allow more discussions and picture sharing, too, along with the writing that I love to do.

Making a community is relatively easy. And I'm willing to co-mod one with you if you are interested. We could call it something else. Maybe not make it a daily posting thing.

I just saw it. :( I think it's sad that the comm closes - couldn't you (or someone else) take over the comm and ask for more contributors so that every day someone else posts (like the Newsletter where someone has a certain day for which they are responsible)?

Thanks! Maybe a community that isn't daily. That's the part that gets difficult. I hope we still get to see some of the nice graphics, too.
