::raises hand:: I totally did that! I actually really liked that scene (it seems like a few fans thought it was out of character). It really made me smile. Loved Chin's face.
I really can't figure out Joe. Terry O'Quinn is doing a good job portraying him because I can't figure out if he's keeping things from Steve for his own good or not.
I loved the sadness from Danny during the wedding - you're review is the only one I've read that's mentioned it (apart from my own). Scott Caan did great there.
I liked reading your review as it's positive - most of the others I read weren't really. This episode wasn't a favourite but it still had things I liked.
Thank you so much! I think "You've been hanging out with McGarrett too long" is going to pop up again. I thought it fit Danny's character okay. A little to the extreme edge of his character maybe! I'm going to have to go back and look at Chin!
I'm off to read your review! Scott can be such an expressive character, and it fit so well that Danny would be happy for Chin and yet reminded of his own loss in marriage (especially after the second relationship with Rachel). It's what real people feel, a mix of emotions sometimes.
I thought it seemed in character really - like you said at the extreme edge of it and I don't think he's gonna be making a habit of it. The look on Chin's face was brilliant! It was Chin's version of the expression Danny's been giving Steve this whole time! Lol!
Scott acting can be both expressive and subtle at the same time and I really like that about him. That subtle bittersweet look during the wedding was brilliantly played.

They advertised the wedding so much, then we got like 5 minutes. It was done nicely, but I thought we'd get more. I thought I saw a preview clip from the reception?

They could have skipped a whole lot of things like Captain Fryer for starters. I liked him when he was in IA there he had this intense aura going here it was just laughable he acted like he was on speed or something. I could have smacked him a couple of times

I thought Fryer was totally different this time, too. Like he was trying to be likeable. I didn't get that interrogation scene at all. I was trying figure out if he was "for real" or playing good cop/bad cop with Kono or just didn't take Kono seriously.
I honestly didn't think about the point of the handcuff scene! It made me laugh! We never reallly got an explanation of why they were handcuffed. It sounded like Danny was making up excuses. I wonder if they were trying to imply that Danny and Lori might be a couple? Steve was so jealous! I thought he was going to tear the room apart to find that key.
I want Wo Fat to stay for a long, long time. Like, the entire run of the series! I would love to meet more of Danny's family, too, and the ex-partner should give us a great story on Danny!
