So... I'm done. It was less of a spurt of productivity and more of "I've had enough, I'm finishing college" So yesterday I did. There's still one more thing I need to print and get to a professor's mailbox, but I can do that later today at work ( Read more... )

I think that multiple moons could be an argument for more tectonic activity. I seem to recall from astronomy that more mass in orbit means a geologically warmer planet, and therefore can mean more volcanic activity even on a smaller/older world (possibly this is the case with Venus or something). Remind me how big the moons look? Because Earth's moon does a lot more to tides/geology than, say, Phobos and Deimos, even though there are two of them.

Speaking of tides, isn't the water always the same height? 'Cause that's weird.
