Chuck had come back from Fandom reasonably early considering he had spent most of the night bothering his sister (god, he loved saying that) and talking to Nathaniel about how said sister reacted to the big news. He was tired when he got back but not tired enough to not be surprised when he noticed that he now had 314 to himself

"All hail the returning hero," Hannibal said cheerfully from the door.

"There's the kind of greeting I like to hear," Chuck said as he finished filling up his glass. "Miss me?"

"Terribly," Hannibal said, stumbling in an effort to illustrate just how much he'd missed Chuck. "I could barely go on."

"Oh, Hannibal. Try to maintain some dignity," he said, snickering. "I take it since the dorms are still standing that nothing too bad happened while I was away."
